natural insecticide & raised beds
1 Attachment(s)
We had a bunch of aphids and scale insects all over our
peppers, tobacco and sweet potatoes. Daily treatment of this spray, for 3 days, really helped. Whether it works on all insects, I can't say. Recipe: 1 cup 3% food grade peroxide 1 cup molasses 1 gallon water mix and fire away. (I put it into a plant mister and mist away) Attachment 48792 We are organic and also use no animal products at all (no fish, manure, blood meal, bone meal, feathers etc.). We made our own soil for the raised beds with peat moss, vermiculite and a seaweed compost. |

That's a nice garden! Why don't you use animal products?

Personal reasons and competitive edge.
It is like organics squared, and should appeal to vegetarians. So far we are becoming adept at no sugar strawberry jam, and I have some hot sauce brewing. So if we ever decide to sell anything, this may help separate us. |
Re: natural insecticide & raised beds
Have you ever considered purchasing mantis and lady bug eggs?
I have never purchased from this company. http://www.gardeners.com/1500%20Adul...efault,pd.html http://i38.tinypic.com/9ava76.jpg |
